AMERICAN CHRISTIANITY: STRONG DELUSION AT ITS BEST

The true Gospel of Jesus Christ is a Gospel of the Kingdom — repentance, surrender, and transformation. But in America, another gospel has crept in: a gospel of convenience. Instead of calling men and women to deny themselves, take up their cross, and follow Christ (Matthew 16:24), pulpits now tell people, “Come as you are, stay as you are, and God owes you blessings.”

This gospel is powerless to save. Paul warned of this very deception: “But even if we or an angel from heaven preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed” (Galatians 1:8). Yet pulpits have been filled with soft words that soothe rather than pierce.

Jesus never preached self-esteem; He preached self-denial. He never promised popularity; He promised persecution (John 15:20). He never called men to comfort; He called them to a cross. The American church has traded Christ’s message for a man-centered gospel — one that makes sinners comfortable instead of convicted.

The result? Churches filled with members, but few disciples. Crowds entertained, but no remnant transformed.
