The Sins of America Cry Out
The reason this Word has come to America is because our sins are now a stench in the nostrils of God. Like Sodom and Gomorrah, the cry has reached heaven. Like Egypt, the land is full of oppression, violence, and bloodshed. Like ancient Israel, we have turned from the living God to idols of wealth, pleasure, and power.
We legalize what God calls sin. We mock His Word in our schools and our media. We have slaughtered millions of unborn children. We have shed innocent blood in our streets. We have exchanged truth for lies, and righteousness for rebellion.
And yet, we dare to sing, “God bless America.”
But the blessing of God cannot rest on rebellion. The covering of God cannot remain where there is open defiance against His ways. And so, the Lord says:
“I will destroy America unless America repents.”
